Your tasksYour tasks & responsibilities
- Taking the lead in the rollout of Invoicing module in new countries
- Process and implementation consulting in the procurement environment, especially for P2P processes
- Compiles and analyze functional and non-functional requirements. Validates and classifies requirements (e.g. business requirements, stakeholder requirements, transition requirements)
- Identifies dependencies, synergies and redundancies,
- Assesses conformity and restrictions with regards to strategy, architecture (landscape), usability guidelines / style guides, interfaces, performance and continuity of business processes,
- Transforms requirements into SAP Ariba solutions by performing configuration in the system or designing specification for 3rd party components,
- Perform testing, update documentation and support UAT and Hypercare phases
- Strong business knowledge and experience on procurement P2P processes, in particular Invoicing
- Several years of relevant work experience in software development / IT business analysis and particularly in configuration and development of SAP ARIBA, (Invoicing Modules)
- Strong customer service orientation as well as self-initiative and excellent analytical skills
- Good understanding of project and application life cycles
- Study to university degree level (computer science, business administration or related disciplines)
- Good knowledge of formalized methods of software specification (e.g. use case modeling, data modeling, interface specification)
- Experience in identifying process improvements and beneficial usage of new technological developments
- Fluency in written and spoken English
eProcure is the new global procurement system for DB Schenker, powered by SAP Ariba.
With eProcure, we hope to achieve digitalization, optimization and increased cost and time efficiency across all local procurement processes. To implement this into DB Schenker's selected entities worldwide, we have started the eProcure Global Rollout Program since 2021 which will be rolled out in the countries in scope by 2023. Our goal is to have a globally centralized and standardized procurement platform which will ultimately enable us to perform 80% of our indirect spend via eProcure and to have more transparency in controlling our indirect purchasing as well as significant cost savings.
To continue this ambitious journey, we are recruiting the position SAP ARIBA Subject Matter Expert specialized in the downstream procurement, in particular the Invoicing Module.
Based on the classical SAP ARIBA Subject Matter Expert role, in this special case of the eProcure global rollout, the SAP ARIBA Subject Matter Expert takes ownership of the rollout of SAP Ariba Invoicing solution in the different countries in scope, supports fit-gap analysis (between the global solution and local requirements), reviews requirements and translates that into solutions. The SAP ARIBA Subject Matter Expert also supports functionally and technically the testing activities before go-live in a country as well as the post go-live support phase.
